(2). You can easily help your child to feel calmer and be able to refocus. You can tell your child to take deep breaths and then count to ten.

If they still feel angry, then tell them to continue counting or do some backward counting.

This will definitely keep their mind off from being angry.

 

(3). There are times when a child can’t simply put his/her anger into words.

The best way that you can do about it is by simply giving your child a paper and pen, and let your child write down or draw how they feel, or why they are angry in the first place.

(4). Try to work off the child’s anger. This is another effective advise that you can do for your child.

You can start with allowing your child to play pillow fight with you.

Or, you can ask your child to walk it off with you or ride his/her bike with you. This will definitely make him/her forget about his/her anger.

 

(5). A hug can definitely soothe anger away. If all else fails, then you can always give your child a hug when your child is mad.
